The L&L Cooking Crew is comprised of a group of friends gathered together to enjoy the festivities at cooking events around the southeast.  When we started, I chose what I consider the best cooker on the market at that time, JR's Model S23-60 and Model S28-72 Smoker, using one for our Rib entry and the other for our Hog and Shoulder entry.  Over the years there has been a lot of changes in this team, but the one thing that has stayed the same is my JR Cookers.  The first award we ever won was on the Model S23-60, and last weekend, March 1, 2003, we won the RIB category and Grand Champion award at the Memphis in May event in Moultrie, GA. on this very same cooker.  With the help of JR and his cookers we have won over 200 awards, and numerous State and Local Championships.  We have had the honor of winning awards at the Memphis in May World Championship, the Kansas City Royal, and the Jack Daniel's World Championship Invitational using our JR Smokers.  The bottom line is if I had to replace one of my cookers right now, I would call JR and place and order.
